Aaahhhh... Friday.
Somehow it doesn't have the same allure since I've been on holidays all week but it's here nonetheless.
This week has been hectic.
It's been chaotic.
Next week it's back to work for me while Little Miss gets to enjoy another full week of Christmas vacation... lucky duck.
To be honest, I'm almost looking forward to going back.
It'll be nice to get back to some semblance of my usual routine.

Here are a few pictures from the last week...
I was kind of slacking in the Instagrammy department this week, preferring to be in the moment and just enjoy time with our family and friends.
But I did, of course, snap a few pics... for posterity's sake at least. ; )
Buddy our elf kept us busy in the days leading up to Christmas... making plenty of little messes and getting himself into every interesting situation possible. This morning found him and a few friends playing Scrabble at our kitchen table... elf style.
Little Miss was so excited for the holiday that she begged to camp out in front of the Christmas tree one night. Gosh, I love this kid.
A little late-night tobogganing...
... and Buddy playing nice with the other Christmas decorations. Ha!
We celebrated Christmas day with just our immediate family. It was all very laid back and relaxed... a perfect way to spend the day.
Little Miss has been camping out in my bed all week, which has resulted in some not-so-great nights of sleep for me (it's like sleeping with a mexican jumping bean) but the constant snuggles I've been getting more than make up for the lack of sleep. : )
I was tagged on IG by my friend Jess, to share some of my favorite holiday pics. Since I consider myself quite the tech-savvy gal (Pffftt... I'm amazed I didn't have to consult my trusty resource, a.k.a. Youtube, for assistance!), I fashioned this little collage here to share some of those moments.
Ok, last one. I have been enjoying all the pretty colors of our decorations so much, that I am having a hard time finding the motivation to take them down. To all you folks who have your trees and decorations packed away by boxing day, I applaud you... but that just isn't going to happen around here. A sweet friend suggested that since we also celebrate Ukrainian Christmas that I might as well leave them all up for another week... yup, genius. Done and done.

So there it is... our holiday week in a (very small) nutshell.
I hope your Christmas was wonderful.
I hope it was filled with lots of great friends, food, laughter and love.
I know ours was.
Happy Friday friends.
